Meet Blake
Blake Pennington has dedicated his career to serving Fayetteville and helping local government work for the people it represents. Since 2014, he has served in the Fayetteville City Attorney’s Office, where he has helped guide the City through complex legal issues and supported the work of elected officials, city staff, boards, and commissions.
Currently serving as Senior Assistant City Attorney, Blake has spent more than a decade working on the legal issues that shape daily life in Fayetteville from planning and development to contracts, litigation, and public policy. He has built a reputation for being prepared, dependable, and committed to doing the work the right way.
Outside of his role at the City, Blake has remained deeply involved in the community through civic and nonprofit service, including serving on the boards of Peace at Home Family Shelter and NWA Equality. He believes public service is about more than holding a title. It’s about showing up, solving problems, and helping build a stronger community for everyone.
Blake is running for Fayetteville City Attorney because he believes experience matters. He understands the legal challenges cities face, knows how Fayetteville’s government works, and is ready to serve from day one. He is committed to providing the strong, steady legal leadership Fayetteville deserves.
Fayetteville has been central to Blake’s professional life and community service, and he is proud to continue giving back to the city he loves.
